Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,373 per week

About the role

The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients, including ante-partum, intra-partum, post-partum, and gynecological patient populations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in labor and delivery nursing and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the potential for floating between units.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in L&D.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EMR systems, specifically EPIC/Stork, to document care and manage patient information.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current RN license in New York with a NURSYS report for all RN licenses.
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• Documented travel experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license with an address that matches demographics.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed.
