Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,300 per week

The Labor and Delivery (L&D) department in Prescott Valley, Arizona, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the unit for night shifts. The role involves providing specialized care to maternity patients, including those with level II diagnoses, and requires clinical skills such as fetal monitoring interpretation, IV starts, and Magnesium Sulfate management. Required Qualifications

• Registered Nursing (RN) license
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Current Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (preferably AWHONN, but will accept others)
• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience with fetal monitoring interpretation
• Experience with IV starts
• Experience with Magnesium Sulfate management and titration of drips

Additional Information

• Candidates must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule and may not be employed full-time, part-time, or prn at any facility associated with the organization within the past year.
• Orientation includes unit-specific training, and the unit utilizes Cerner Power Chart Maternity electronic charting system. The unit performs sterile technique tests on the first day of orientation.

Requirements

• Use of hospital-laundered scrubs provided
• On-call 18 hours every 4 weeks

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
