Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,130 per week

About the role

Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse position in a high-volume, high-census facility with a diverse patient population. The role involves providing high-risk obstetric care, postpartum treatment following delivery, and managing patients with complex needs such as postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal. The position is for night shifts with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetric care
• Deliver postpartum treatment following delivery
• Manage patients with complex needs including postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal
• Handle high acuity patients and manage census surges
• Participate in float rotation at specific campuses (postpartum and labor & delivery units) as required
• Adhere to scheduled RTO requests
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays
• Commit to night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Maintain previous charge experience
• Demonstrate EPIC system proficiency

Requirements

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetric care, including magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, Foley catheter management, postpartum hemorrhage, and vaginal delivery
• Valid compact nursing license in the state of practice
• Previous work at a Providence facility (with specific licensing and experience requirements)
• References covering at least one year within the last three years
• Previous charge experience
• EPIC system proficiency
• Commitment to night shifts, minimum 36 hours weekly
• Flexibility to work 3 out of 5 major holidays
• Adherence to scheduled RTO requests

Qualifications
