Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,110 per week

About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive care to obstetric patients and newborns in a critical access hospital setting. The position requires versatility in managing triage, labor, recovery, postpartum, and neonatal care, utilizing Epic electronic health record systems. Expectations include floating between units and participation in holiday coverage.

Schedule

  • Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
  • Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Triage obstetrical patients
  • Manage labor and delivery
  • Provide postpartum care and neonatal care
  • Assist with surgeries such as C-sections
  • Answer phones and start IVs
  • Provide skilled coverage across all areas of obstetrics as needed
  • Occasionally float to other units for skill coverage
  • Work at least one winter holiday and three out of five specified holidays per contract

Requirements

  • Valid state RN license (compact license preferred)
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience in labor and delivery
  • Certification in BLS, NRP, and CLC

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in triaging obstetrical patients
  • Charting with Epic electronic health record systems
  • Handling neonatal and postpartum care
