Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $1,975 per week

About the role

Labor and Delivery (L&D) Specialist located in Frankfort, KY. This position involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum within a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and nursery setting. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean sections
• Induction of labor
• IUFD
• IV insertions
• Lab draws
• Sterile vaginal exams
• Epidural assistance
• Foley catheter placement
• Must be able to circulate for cesarean sections

Requirements

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN required
• Must have Kentucky license or Compact license at submission
• 2 years of hospital setting experience, with preference for candidates having 3 or more years of L&D experience

Qualifications

• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff

Schedule

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
