Job Summary
The laboratory and delivery department position is located in Highland Park, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery department, supporting obstetric patient needs, and ensuring quality maternal care. The position requires flexibility, professionalism, and a focus on patient safety and comfort.
Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- 40 hours per week
- Shift starts between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois nursing license
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- Epic electronic health record experience
- 0+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Prior experience working with Epic EHR
- Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures
Additional Information
- No weekend work required
- Facility is closed on holidays, therefore hours are not guaranteed during these periods
- Orientation occurs on Monday prior to start date
- Certifications are due Thursday before commencing the assignment

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
