Travel Labor Delivery Operating Room RN - $3,286 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery assignment in Raleigh, North Carolina. The position starts on October 12, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 48 hours per week (12‑hour shifts) as a travel RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery of the baby.
• Ensure medical and emotional needs of the patient are met throughout the birthing process.
• Provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high‑risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Schedule

12‑hour shifts, 48 hours per week.
