Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $3,213 per week

About the Role

Secure Nursing Service LLC is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for an assignment in Santa Maria, California. This is a 13-week travel position starting on 08/15/2026, with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour day shifts.

Unit Details

• Unit: Labor & Delivery/Postpartum (L&D/PP)
• 14 L&D beds, 6 triage beds, and 2 OR suites
• 28 postpartum beds
• Approximately 250 births per month
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), AWOHNN (advanced) for L&D, NRP for Postpartum
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 2:1 for laboring patients (following AWOHNN guidelines), 1:4 for couplet care
• Fetal Heart Monitoring System: Fetal Link
• Charting System: Cerner

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience with Level 3 Trauma centers
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
