Monitor maternal and newborn conditions and identify changes requiring intervention. Perform postpartum assessments, including fundus, lochia, perineal and incision assessments. Provide breastfeeding and newborn-care education to parents. Administer medications and provide pain management. Care for patients following vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Support high-risk OB patients according to facility protocols. Circulate for cesarean sections as required. Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team. Float to other units within the RN's scope when required to meet staffing needs. Certification: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRPMed Ninjas Job ID #17230.
