Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $3,045 per week

About the role

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026 in Arroyo Grande, California.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients of all gestational ages
• Triage high-risk pregnancies and deliveries
• Circulate during C-sections
• Assist with postpartum care
• Work 12-hour shifts, days only
• No call, may be placed on standby
• Floated to Postpartum as needed
• Experience with advanced fetal monitoring preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license at submission
• BLS, ACLS certifications required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN)
• NRPC certification required
• Congested unit ratios: 1:2 (L&D) and 1:4 (Postpartum)
• Experience with C-sections and scrubbing preferred
• Experience with substance use disorders and insulin-dependent diabetes patients
• Experience with neonatal care preferred

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Experience circulating during C-sections
