Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $3,034 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Brownwood, Texas, starting September 8, 2026.

About the role

This position is a travel nursing assignment lasting 13 weeks with a 12-hour night shift and a total of 48 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Administration of blood & blood products
• Amnioinfusion
• Antepartum care
• Anticoagulation therapy
• Antihypertensive administration
• Antiseizure medication management
• APGAR scoring
• Assist with circumcision and post-op site assessment
• Assist with vaginal delivery
• Baby-friendly protocols
• Baby nurse (baby catcher) duties
• Breastfeeding and lactation support
• Car seat education
• Cervical cerclage assistance
• Cesarean section assistance
• Circulate for C-section
• Collect cord samples
• Cord care
• Couplet care
• Dilation and curettage (D & C) assistance
• Discharge teaching to parents
• Drawing venous blood
• Epidural anesthesia management
• Episiotomy and incisional care
• Facility-specific birth volume management

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Previous charge experience (required)
• Experience with a 1:1 patient ratio (required)
• Travel experience (preferred)

Qualifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• AWHONN Advanced certification
• AWHONN Beginner certification
• AWHONN Intermediate certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and may be subject to change during an assignment.
