Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 26-week assignment in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Alaska.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Knowledgeable in postpartum care and newborn care.

Schedule

36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
