Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,812 per week
About the Role
Travel nursing position for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery in Chicago, Illinois. This is a 6-week contract with a start date of 08/31/2026, requiring 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
Primary location: Humboldt Park Health. No floating, on-call, or call-back requirements. Weekend and holiday requirement: every other weekend, plus summer and winter holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in Labor and Delivery, including strong assessment and critical thinking.
- Manage a patient population that is predominantly Hispanic.
- Work effectively in a unit with 20-30 deliveries and 60 NST/triages per month.
- Adapt to change and demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (required at submittal).
- Experience with Meditech and CPN charting systems.
- Bilingual skills are an asset but not required.
