About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting on August 17, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Maintain good working relationships with other employees.
- Respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Use some computer skills as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of labor and delivery (L&D) experience.
- At least 2 years of travel nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
- BLS certification.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advance Provider OR Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor certification.
Skills
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Some computer skills.
