About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a position in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and monitor mother and baby’s health.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to work 36 hours per week.
- Must be available to start on 08/02/2026.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, nights.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
