About the role
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a critical role within our healthcare team. The ideal candidate must possess strong clinical skills in Labor and Delivery, with experience and competence in nursery care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients and newborns in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, assessing and interpreting data accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform nursing interventions and document patient progress using the Epic charting system.
- Assist in delivering infants and provide immediate care in nursery settings.
Requirements
- Current NY State RN license in hand.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Prior travel experience within acute care settings is preferred.
- Nursery skills are required.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification within the past two years.
- BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.

Pay
The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
