Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,394 per week

About the role

We are seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor and Delivery position in White Plains, NY. The position is 8 weeks long, starting August 10, 2026, and works 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, with every third weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage care for patients in the OB and Nursery unit.
• Provide care for C-section patients and other OB-related procedures.
• Manage high-risk obstetric patients and understand antepartum care dynamics.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as needed.
• Care for patients undergoing C-sections and other OB-related procedures.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including Hospitalists and Intensivists.
• Perform initial patient assessments in triage and assist with patient flow in the unit.

Requirements

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• BSN degree preferred.
• ACLS and NRP certifications required.
• Experience in high-risk obstetrics is essential.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech and GE, is advantageous.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule, with every third weekend required. Nurses will work a total of 34.5 hours per week.
