Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel nursing assignment in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
About the Role
This 13-week travel assignment begins on August 24, 2026, with a 36-hour workweek on 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) tracings
- Perform sterile vaginal exams (SVEs) and IV starts
- Manage Magnesium Sulfate administration
- Insert Foley catheters and perform central line dressing changes using sterile technique
- Titrate drips, including Pitocin
- Adhere to weekend and holiday work requirements
- Participate in on-call scheduling (18 hours per 4-week schedule)
- Work in a Level 3 trauma facility with Level II maternity care (down to 32 weeks gestational age)
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification (preferably AWHONN, but others accepted)
- Experience with EFM interpretation, SVEs, IV starts, and Magnesium Sulfate management
- Experience with Level II maternity care (32+ weeks gestational age)
- Ability to pass a sterile technique test on the first day of orientation
- Familiarity with Cerner Power Chart Maternity EHR (preferred but not required)
