About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a Labor and Delivery RN to take an assignment in Smyrna, Tennessee. This assignment lasts 13 weeks and is scheduled to start on August 24, 2026. The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Circulating in OR (Operating Room)
• Intrauterine Pressure Catheter (IUPC) management
• Fetal Scalp Electrode (FSE) placement and monitoring
• Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO4) administration
• Postpartum hemorrhage management using the JADA system
• Nitrous oxide usage for pain management

Requirements

• RN license
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal Monitoring certification

Skills

• Drive to provide the highest quality of care to laboring patients
• Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference
• Spinning babies (helpful)
