About the Role
We’re currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week hospital contract in Austin, TX. This role supports a Level III Maternal Designation and Level II Neonatal Level care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor fetal heart rates using advanced EFM/AWHONN Intermediate EFM certifications.
- Assist with obstetric procedures, including C-sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, twin deliveries, and emergent surgeries such as C-Hysterectomy.
- Collaborate with a highly engaged, team-oriented staff managing patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1 with transition and acuity.
- Ensure adherence to unit policies, participate in self-scheduling, and maintain a positive, motivated attitude.
