About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in our Labor & Delivery unit in Abington, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk obstetrics and a passion for providing exceptional patient care during childbirth.

Schedule

• Night shift, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every 3rd weekend required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a high-risk Labor & Delivery setting
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during the labor and delivery process
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormal findings
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, including cesarean sections and postpartum procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families through the childbirth experience

Requirements

• Two years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Current RN license and certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BLS
• BSN required; AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
