Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,225 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.
• Assist physicians during childbirth and monitor the progress of labor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort.
• Document patient care and treatment in medical records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.

Qualifications

• Passport required for international travel.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of postpartum care and newborn care.

Pay
