Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,179 per week
About the Role
Malone Healthcare is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Marshall, Michigan. This position involves 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift in a birth center with 11 LDRP rooms, 3 triage rooms, and 1 OR.
- RN to patient ratio: 1:1 for active labor, magnesium sulfate, and Pitocin induction of labor
- 1:3 couplets
- 1:2 early labor patients
- EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities
- Care for laboring patients
- Assist with delivery and provide newborn care at delivery
- Postpartum care for mothers and babies
Requirements
- 2 years of current Birthing Center experience (required)
- Experience with laboring patients, delivery, and postpartum care (required)
- Prior travel experience (preferred)
- NRP certification (preferred; Oaklawn will consider RNs without active certification if willing to obtain)
- Traveler’s permanent address must be included in profile
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty (required, document)
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms completed within the last two years (required, document)
- Active American Heart Association BLS (required, document)
