Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,172 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The candidate will join our team to provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during labor and delivery, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Monitor fetal health and manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Conduct immediate newborn care post-delivery.
• Assist in procedures such as D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst.
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring systems and IV pumps efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• High-risk obstetrics experience preferred.
• Certification in BLS, ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as an RN in North Carolina.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Current certification in Advanced Fetal Monitoring.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery.
• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
