Qualifications and Experience Required

• Years of Experience: 3 years required.
• Community Hospital Experience: Preferred.
• First-timers Accepted: No
• Travel Experience: Required

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate preferred.

Skills and Proficiencies Required

• Administration of blood & blood products
• IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Drawing Venous Blood, Start & maintain peripheral IV, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring
• Labor and Delivery Management: Amnioinfusion, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam
• Work Settings: Antepartum, Community Level experience, Facility births/month
