About the role

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) provides care to obstetric patients experiencing labor and delivering infants. The RN will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Specialty: Labor and Delivery. Discipline: RN. Start date: 09/20/2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health status of patients during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and provide education to patients regarding their treatment options.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate both the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Relevant nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications as required by facility policies and safety regulations.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Hours per week: 36. Assignment duration: 13‑week contract.
