Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,124 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel nursing assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina.

About the Role

This assignment lasts 26 weeks and is scheduled to start on August 17, 2026. The shift is 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15) with a total of 36 hours per week. Weekend requirement: every other weekend, minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. No call requirements; must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in Labor and Delivery
• Perform sterile vaginal exams
• Provide competent immediate newborn care
• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting with a patient ratio of 2:1
• Float within or near the facility as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably 3 years in Labor and Delivery
• Experience with >300 births per month
• Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate (or C-EFM), NRP
• Unit Systems Experience: EPIC, SBAR
• NC or Compact nursing license (pending acceptable for submittal)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• No RTO during the first week; up to 7 days auto-approved afterward

Preferred Qualifications

• Circulate to OR experience
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced settings

• Orientation: 24 hours
• Scrubs provided (blue)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying
• Local candidates (within 50 miles) will receive a lower rate
• Travel pairs allowed (must be on different units)
