Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina, starting August 31, 2026.
About the Role
This position is for a travel nurse assignment lasting 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension or other opportunities in the same market. The role requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for labor and delivery patients, including high-risk deliveries
- Perform sterile speculum exams and assist with cesarean sections
- Manage epidural anesthesia and neonatal resuscitation
- Administer blood and blood products
- Handle antepartum care, APGAR scoring, and VBAC management
- Start and maintain IVs
- Perform amnioinfusion and manage adult cardiac arrest scenarios
- Provide care in Labor & Delivery, LDRP, and related units
- Float to other Cone Health campuses as needed
- Use the EPIC charting system for documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Experience with a patient ratio of 5:1
- Active nursing license (must be in hand at submission)
- Pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greensboro
Qualifications
- Required certifications: AWHONN Beginner/Intermediate, FHM, NRP, BLS
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced
- Preferred experience: Charge RN, Community Hospital, Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
