Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients during labor and delivery
• Perform advanced fetal monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Assist with neonatal resuscitation
• Document patient care and progress accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Active Texas RN License
• BLS Provider (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / Perinatal RN experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of Labor & Delivery / Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery unit

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
