About the role
A 122-bed Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13 week assignment. The position requires 12 hour day shifts, including weekdays and some weekends. An active NC or compact license is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting
- Assist with deliveries and monitor fetal heart tones
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Document patient progress and vital signs accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity
Requirements
- Active NC or compact license
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and STABLE certifications
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
