About the role

Join our dedicated team providing exceptional care in Women's Services at a facility in Smyrna, TN. As a Registered Nurse, you will support and empower laboring patients while offering personalized birth experiences. Our unit fosters a collaborative environment with 24/7 in-house midwives and dedicated CRNA and OB coverage.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the OR and support various procedures, including IUPC, FSE, and MgSO4 administration.
• Promote vaginal birth opportunities aligned with patient preferences.
• Provide couplet care in the postpartum unit, ensuring newborns remain at the bedside.
• Collaborate with a midwife team and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Assist in the operating room and attend to high-risk deliveries as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring.
• Experience or knowledge in spinning babies and STABLE is helpful.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
