The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty and be passionate about providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their families. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in labor and delivery. Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery. Administer medications and interventions as needed. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and families about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Assist with the management of pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification. AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Schedule Requirements Candidates must be available to work from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Additionally, the role requires working 2 major holidays out of the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as 1 minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve. Location This position is located in a city within the state that supports multiple healthcare facilities.
