About the role
This is a 13-week assignment with a shift from 07:00 to 19:30, three 12-hour days per week. The facility uses Epic for charting and is a Level 1 trauma center with 968 beds. Patient ratios are 1:1 for both day and night shifts.
Pay
$2,090.00 to $2,299.60 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Responsibilities
- Circulate for C-section
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Labor & Delivery care
- Administration of blood & blood products
- Antepartum care
- APGAR scoring
- Cesarean Section assistance
- Collect cord samples
- Drawing Venous Blood
- Epidural Anesthesia management
- Episiotomy/Incisional Care
- Facility births (100-200 per month)
- Foley catheter insertion/management
- Fundus / lochia / perineum care
- ID/Security Banding
- Magnesium Sulfate therapy
- Management of Multiple Births
- NST (Non-Stress Tests)
- Pain assessment & management
- Pitocin (oxytocin) administration
- Postpartum Hemorrhage management
- Pregnancy-induced hypertension care
- Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation
- Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Recover C-Section patients
- Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus
- Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- Use of External Fetal Monitoring
- Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring
- Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring
- Wound assessment/care
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Sterile vaginal exams
- Vaginal Delivery assistance
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
- OH License or Compact License (Quick License State: application process takes 2 weeks or less)
- BLS, NRP, ACLS certifications
- AWHONN Advanced certification
