Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Make $2,262 to $2,466/week

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care in an acute care hospital setting
• Perform antepartum care, APGAR scoring, and assist with vaginal delivery
• Circulate for C-section and recover C-section patients
• Provide couplet care and mother/baby nursing
• Administer epidural anesthesia, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), and Terbutaline
• Perform Foley catheter insertion and management, sterile vaginal exams, and fundus/lochia/perineum care
• Monitor and manage patients with pregnancy induced hypertension and postpartum hemorrhage
• Perform newborn assessment, recognize and treat newborn hypoglycemia, and provide neonatal resuscitation
• Use external fetal monitoring (EFM), recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Manage IV monitoring, infusion pumps/drips, and vaccine administration
• Maintain ID/security banding, infant identification, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Provide pain assessment and management, and use radiant warmers/thermoregulation

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Active BLS and NRP certifications
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Quick License State eligibility (application process takes 2 weeks or less)

Schedule & Shift Details

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 3, 12-Hour shifts (03:00 - 15:00)
• Alternative Schedule: 3, 12-Hour shifts (11:00 - 23:00)
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks

Pay

$2262 to $2466 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements)
