About the role
The hospital in the Tacoma, Washington area needs help on the L&D unit from registered nurses for a 16-week travel contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist with the delivery of infants and monitor the progress of labor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical staff.
- Document patient care and procedures accurately.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
- Level III experience.
Qualifications
Must have current licensure and certification in the state of practice.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
