Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,713 per week

Medical Solutions is seeking a talented travel nurse RN whose adventure game is as strong as their clinical game, with flexibility and high pay, for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 6-week duration
• Care for patients including high-risk labor, C-sections, antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, postpartum on magnesium, and postpartum without baby
• Manage patient ratios: 1:1 for high-risk labor and C-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, and postpartum on magnesium; 1:3 for postpartum without baby and outpatients
• Utilize equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitors
• Document care using CPN Gold and Meditech EMR systems

• Number of staff: 112
• Day shift staffing: 1 CNC (Team Lead), 14 nurses, 2-3 STs, 2 unit clerks
• Night shift staffing: 1 CNC (Team Lead), 12 nurses, 2 STs, 1 unit clerk
