About the role
A hospital in Southern Idaho is in need of an L&D / OB Float RN for a 13 week travel assignment. The nurse will be working 12 hour shifts mainly in Med-Surg but will be working in OB when the need is there.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assess patients’ physical, psychological, emotional, social, spiritual, and developmental needs.
- Implement and coordinate care plans based on assessment findings.
- Document patient care activities according to facility policy and requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and agency guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Idaho
- Current BLS certification (CPR)
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred
Qualifications
- Passport required for international travel
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
