Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,472 per week
About the role
A Wisconsin hospital in/near Milwaukee is seeking a travel nurse to work in their 20 bed L&D unit. This travel nurse friendly hospital has 16 L&D rooms, 2 critical care monitoring rooms and 2 OR's for C-sections. They average 1500 deliveries per year, 200-250 per month with a high percentage of high-risk mothers and babies. There is a Level III NICU on site. High-risk includes diabetes, pre-eclampsia, cardiac conditions, kidney failure, premature births, etc.
Responsibilities
- Assist with C-sections
- Work 8 hour nights from 11pm-7:30 am
- Every other weekend and all holidays
Requirements
- Open to working 12 hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Must be licensed and certified
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of postpartum care
