Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,408 per week

About the role

Great level 1, teaching hospital in Virginia is in need of 4 L&D RN's with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Postpartum experience is mandatory. Both day and night positions are currently available for these 13 week assignments. Antepartum and GYN experience is preferred. Hospital is only an hour from historic Richmond and only two hours from all of the great sites of Washington, DC!

Responsibilities

• Treatment of patients in labor and delivery
• Assisting physicians during childbirth
• Monitoring fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Providing emotional support to patients and families
• Documenting patient care in medical records

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience
• Postpartum experience is mandatory
• Antepartum and GYN experience is preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with neonatal resuscitation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
