About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care standards and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients.
• Establish a collaborative plan of care and communicate it to involved healthcare disciplines.
• Implement and evaluate the plan of care, modifying as needed based on patient reassessments.
• Complete documentation according to established standards.
• Assess patient readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans.
• Participate in nursing initiatives and serve on committees as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate care according to organizational guidelines.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in OB, Postpartum, and/or Labor & Delivery.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Ohio.
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications are required.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, flexible
• Days: 7a-7p
• Every 3rd weekend
• On-call (must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in)

Contract & local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
