About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Hazard, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and the Newborn Nursery
- Floating is required within the RN's scope of practice
- Every other weekend required
- Schedule follows a 36/48-hour cycle over each two-week pay period
- Patient ratios may vary based on census, staffing levels, and call-offs
- Orientation is held bi-weekly
Requirements
- 2+ years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience in a Level I acute care setting
- Recent experience in: Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), Newborn Nursery
- Kentucky RN License or Compact RN License required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include:
- 2+ years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience in a Level I acute care setting
- Recent experience in: Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum (PP), Newborn Nursery
- Kentucky RN License or Compact RN License required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required
