Unit Information Unit Type: LDRP Number of Beds: 7 Staffing: Minimum of 3 staff members per shift Day Shift: 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech Night Shift: 2 RNs and 1 OB Surgical Tech Patient Ratios: AWHONN acuity staffing ratios are followed Type of Equipment: GE, Centricity Perinatal Electronic Medical Records: EPIC Qualifications Required Skills 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Labor triage experience OR circulator experience (C-sections, tubal ligations, D&C, vaginal repairs, etc.) Newborn resuscitation experience, specifically attending deliveries for low-risk newborns Preferred Skills IUPC/FSE placement Assistance with JADA/COOKS/BAKRI placement Typical Procedures Induction of labor Vaginal deliveries C-sections Tubal ligations Labor triage Antepartum care D&C procedures Vaginal repairs Non-stress tests (NST) Intrauterine fetal demise (IUFD) care Steroid injections (BMZ) External cephalic version Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be a team player who is driven, flexible, honest, and accountable.
