This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to patients' needs. Key Responsibilities: Conducts assessments to identify patient needs and establishes care priorities. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized care plans based on initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessments based on patient issues, physician's medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions to manage patient care effectively. Documents care in accordance with standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and facilitates the adoption of innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models. Completes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Labor and Delivery or related specialty. Preferred Skills & Experience: No additional preferred skills or experience specified. Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Certifications & Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required. New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Schedule Information: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 shifts per week. Every other weekend required. 3 out of 6 holidays required. Required Hard Skills: Labor and Delivery experience.
