About the role
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Albany, New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal and newborn care. This position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM). The facility provides navy blue scrubs as the dress code.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
- Monitor and assess patients and their newborns, ensuring a safe birthing process.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Requirements
- Epic experience REQUIRED.
- National Certification Corporation or Intermediate AWHONN certification issued within the past 3 years required. Proof of class registration for AWHONN certification may be uploaded at the time of submission.
- Must be compliant with local candidate eligibility requirements.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
