Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery care for mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment at Stony Brook Hospital, a 628-bed Level I trauma center and premier academic medical facility featuring advanced perinatal care and serving as a regional referral center for high-risk pregnancies (unit delivers 300 babies per month)
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, LD with 2 years of experience
- Current New York RN license (RN-NY)
- ACLS certification (copy needed)
- CERT-FHM certification (copy needed)
- 1 reference in entire work history
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Pay
- Pay rate: $2,414.00 – $2,538.00 per week
- Based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
