Travel L&D RN - $2,458 per week

Position Details

• Location: The Woodlands, Texas
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Labor and Delivery Unit
• Facility Details:
  • 12 L&D beds
  • 2 OR suites for C‑sections
  • 4 triage beds
  • 16 postpartum beds
  • Average births: 160‑200 per month
• Guidelines Followed: AWHONN for nurse‑to‑patient ratios

Responsibilities

• Perform own circulations and C‑sections
• Float to Mother‑Baby unit as needed (rare)
• Monitor patients using Watch Child monitors and read own strips
• Collaborate with in‑house specialists (OB/Neonatologist and Anesthesia available 24/7)
• Utilize respiratory equipment (vents, CPAP, BiPAP) as needed
• Work with support staff, including surgical techs

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Scheduling and Orientation

• Modified self‑scheduling
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday work required
• Floating required as needed
• Unit/department‑specific orientation provided
• Uniform: Royal blue scrubs required
