Travel L&D RN - $2,455 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois, starting on August 17, 2026.

About the role

This position is for a high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients, managing magnesium and insulin drips, circulating cesarean sections, and recovering patients in PACU. Proficiency in baby care for both vaginal and cesarean deliveries is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients
• Manage magnesium and insulin drips
• Circulate cesarean sections in the OR
• Recover patients in PACU
• Provide baby care at both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Titrate drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery (preferred)
• Proficiency in advanced AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that application process has been initiated

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Completion of advanced AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) class

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts
