Travel nursing assignment in Austin, Texas for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery.

Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
• Circulate during C-Sections
• Conduct sterile vaginal exams (SVE competency)
• Handle typical procedures on unit(s): spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD), cerclages, C-Sections, trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC)
• Work rotating weekends; no call requirements

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Intermediate fetal monitoring competency
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Scrub color: navy blue

Preferred Qualifications

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Previous travel nursing assignments or employments
• Experience in a Level IV (high-volume) unit
