Travel L&D RN - $2,395 per week
About the Role
Malone Healthcare is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Austin, Texas. This position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and no call requirements.
Requirements
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
- Competency in EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- Competency in SVE (Sterile Vaginal Exam)
- Experience in C-Section circulation
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Competency in internal monitor placement
- Previous HCA assignment or employment
- Experience in a Level IV (high-volume) unit
Candidates with these skills will be prioritized.
Unit Procedures
- Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery (SVD)
- Cerclages
- C-Sections
- TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean)
Dress Code
- Scrub color: Navy blue
- Solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only (no T-shirts)
