Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist physicians during deliveries and monitor mother and baby’s condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 1.5 years of labor and delivery (LD) RN experience required.
- Must have skills in OB/L&D, charge nursing, and call requirements as needed.
- No locals within 60 miles required.
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS.
Qualifications
- Current licensure to practice as an RN in the state of Kentucky.
- Current CPR certification (BLS).
